The Challenge

When event production company NAF was tasked with running two major boxing events, one in London (Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn) and one in NYC (Fatal Fury), they needed a post-production partner who could deliver under extreme time pressure. Unorthodox Studio was brought on board with a clear directive: deliver all key edits within 24 hours of each event.

While the London event was straightforward, the NYC event posed a significant logistical and financial challenge. Flying a full editing team from London to New York was not a viable option. A new, innovative solution was needed to deliver world-class edits on a transatlantic scale, without the transatlantic cost.

The Work

The solution was a seamless remote workflow, designed in close partnership between Crop Factor’s co-founder, Przemek Czaicki, and the team at Unorthodox. This collaborative approach proved that geography is no barrier to efficiency, building a powerful creative bridge between London and NYC.

The process involved a strategic partnership with East Coast Digital in New York, who provided the crucial on-the-ground infrastructure. They managed physical footage hand-offs and the high-speed connectivity needed for the remote team. From London, a dedicated post-production unit was formed, led by Przemek and powered by a team of four Unorthodox editors. This integrated model allowed multiple independent studios to work together as a single, efficient unit, operating in near real-time to deliver the job.

The Impact

The remote workflow was a resounding success. The team delivered all edits for the high-profile NYC event well within the 24-hour deadline, exceeding client expectations.
